Our system will have your floors back in service in one to two days depending on the amount of furniture you have in the rooms. If all of your furniture can not be removed from the floors to be refinished we sometimes do one half of the floors on one day and the second half the next day. That allows for the finish to cure in the areas we are able to clear of furniture the first day and then we move all the furniture to the previously finished area and finish the remaining area. It is simple, mess free, and most of all, cost effective!

Can all hardwood be cleaned?
The simple answer is, no. There are many types of flooring used in homes today. Due to manufacturing methods and materials, some types can't be effectively cleaned in a way that would preserve the integrity of the flooring. The good news is that in most cases our process is very effective. The types that are not good candidates for cleaning are the less expensive engineered flooring that is made of particle board, MDF, or like materials. These are delicate and can not be cleaned efffectively using our deep cleaning methods.
I have used a product that promised a quick shine. Now my floors look terrible! Can you help?
Good news! We can remove acrylic quick shine products. In most cases people apply these products and the floors look great for a time. Then, after wear and tear they don't look as good and a second coat is applied. Though it looks better, it still doesn't look as good as it did with the first coat. After some wear and tear, it looks even worse. A third coat is applied and it is unmistakable, that was a huge mistake!
That is normally the time when we are called with people in panic mode. We can fix the problem, though it is costly. We charge $2.50 per square foot to remove acrylic coatings from hardwood.
Are there less expensive ways to fix hardwood problems?
Yes. If you have not used a quick shine product you may be able to have a clean and buff done. We have the equipment to deep clean your hardwood and get the ground in dirt off the floor. We have surprised many people with the amount of dirt that exists on relatively clean looking hardwood floors. A clean and buff costs only $0.50 (50 cents) per square foot. Good news to those who have hardwood!
